Championship Wrestling of Arkansas, a professional wrestling company, presents Wrestle Raise IV: Arm Bars for Alex Saturday January 13, 2018 with a 7 PM bell time at the Maumelle Event Center.

The event will be a fundraiser for the the family of Alex Thompson, age 7 of East End. He suffers from Sanfilippo Syndrome. It is a rare autosomal recessive lysosomal storage disease.

“We are so thankful that Alex has been chosen for this Wrestle Raise event. It is truly an amazing thing these wrestlers do selflessly to benefit families. We are excited to be a part of the fun January 13th!” said Stephany Thompson, Alex’s mother.

The event will be headlined by WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler as he faces “LVR Boy” Matt Riviera from Russellville with Boyd Bradford in a grudge match.

Also, Carlito will go one-on-one with Pine Bluff native and former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Tim Storm.

“It’s always a pleasure to be a part of the CWA fundraisers. It’s great to wrestle in front of family and friends but even greater to raise money for someone such as Alex Thompson. There’s nothing like it,” said Storm in a recent interview with cwatickets.com.

The event will feature several other matches including ROH star Delirious and several wrestlers from Arkansas including the tag team of The OMGs from Little Rock and Gary “Roosevelt” Gram from Eureka Springs. Also in action will be top regional talent including “Golden Boy” Greg Anthony, Genetic Perfection, Barrett Brown, and others.

CWA is an Arkansas-based wrestling company that specializes in fundraising for people in need. This will be the 4th “Wrestle Raise” event.

VIP Platinum front row seats are sold out, however there are great seats available. VIP Gold second row seats are $30, VIP Silver third row seats are $25. All VIP tickets include a meet & greet. General admission tickets are $12 each and are available at Marco’s Pizza in Maumelle or at the Sherwood location.
