From the “what the heck did I just see going down the road” files… My dad, Roger Poole, sent me a picture and the following explanation of “what the heck…” you get the idea:
“We were on Reynolds Road, waiting to turn onto Boone Road toward Bishop Park. We noticed in front of us a vehicle with a trailer on which a complicated metal assembly of some sort was attached. We followed it to Bishop Park and spoke to Chris Ellis from Nabholz Construction who was driving the big truck that pulled the trailer. He said the portable stadium seat assembly (and two more like it) belongs to Bryant Parks & Recreation Department. They got them from Biloxi, Mississippi. He thinks the Bryant Chief of Police found them on a website for free. They appear to accommodate about 150 or so skinny people or maybe 100 not so skinny people.”
