If you’re interested at all in the near future of Bryant’s streets and trails (hint: you are), you need to look at the new plan below and watch the video at the bottom.
The City of Bryant held a public meeting Thursday night, December 15, 2016, to give information and get public input on plans for modes of transportation in the years to come. The evening focused on a draft of a bike, pedestrian and vehicle transportation plan called “Walk, Bike, Drive Bryant.”
Click the first image below to see the Bryant Bike/Pedestrian Plan (trails) as an extra-large image; the same for the second image, but it’s the Bryant Master Transportation Plan (streets).
The planning commission may either revise the documents presented or approve it for certification to the Bryant City Council. Draft documents will be available for review by interested citizens at City Hall during regular business hours. Any questions may be directed to the Bryant Planning Department by calling 501-943-0999.
In the video below, Urban Planner James Walden presented plans to interested individuals gathered and took questions afterward.
