The Saline County Clerk’s Office conducts a thorough logic and accuracy test of every election machine during each election. All logic and accuracy tests of the machines are open to the public.
“Our office consistently exceeds standards to ensure the accuracy of our voting machines for each election. Today’s audit reaffirms that our election results are accurate and our voting equipment is both safe and secure,” said Saline County Clerk Doug Curtis.
“Accountability is paramount in ensuring election integrity. The results of 100% accuracy revealed by the State Board of Election Commissioners was not a surprise but certainly speaks to the dedication of our Saline County Clerk, his very competent staff, Saline County Election Commissioners, poll workers and all of those involved in our local elections.
