The Saline County Library will once again offer free tax services through the VITA program (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) for your 2020 tax return. This year, services will be on a drop-off/pick-up basis at 714 Edison Ave. Make an appointment by calling 501-326-6203.
VITA is a free tax preparation and electronic filing by certified, trained volunteers. This is for income-qualified individuals and families. The EITC is a refundable tax credit for low and moderate working taxpayers.
Residents can pick up printed state and federal tax booklets at the Benton and Bryant branch. Pick these up on a self-serve basis from the curbside table at either branch, no appointment or calls necessary. All curbside services are available Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m -5:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Limited computer services are also available by appointment only if you need to use a computer or print tax information.
