VIDEO: Lib Carlisle to Presents Program on Saline County Politics in Benton

Longtime Benton resident Lib Carlisle presented a program on the history of Saline County Politics at the meeting of the Saline County History and Heritage Society (SCHHS).  The meeting was on Thursday, July 21st, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at 123 North Market in Downtown Benton. Carlisle served at different times as Saline County Chairman of the Democratic Party and Arkansas State Chairman for the Democratic Party.

The event was nearly postponed due to a power outage in the area, but there was a full room of around 60 people in attendance, the speaker and organizers decided to go on with the program.
