The Benton Area Chamber of Commerce held their Civics & Government Committee meeting Tuesday afternoon at the Benton Municipal Complex. Mayor David Mattingly spoke candidly about several projects going on in the City right now, including: Riverside Park and Riverside Center opening on April 1st, 2017; The Shoppes of Benton opening in late Spring; Tacos 4 Life opening in the Spring; Alcoa Road widening projected to finish the end of 2018; and the status of the farmers market pavilion.
