According to the archives there have been approximately 6,035 Arkansans that have been killed in action since records were first kept. This includes WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, 1st Gulf War, and post 9/11.
The ceremony will include an invocation, pledge of allegiance, national anthem, speeches by VFWA President & VFW Post 2256 Commander, taps, benediction and salute to the flag.

Additionally, the Saline County VFW Post 2256 will meet Sunday, May 28 at the Post at 8:30 a.m. to put flags on Veteran gravesites across Saline County. The post is located at 5323 Sleepy Village Rd. Benton, AR 72015.
