The popular downtown Benton spot – Valhalla Restaurant & Axe Throwing – announced Wednesday that after a year and a half in business, they have sold to their neighbors, the owners of Baja Grill.
Shawn and Denise Hipskind will still own The Palace, the building that holds the two restaurants. It also has three bed and breakfast apartments upstairs. The Hipskinds will also still own the venue next door – The Bourbs.

*New Ownership Oct 1st*
A few years ago we jumped into the business of town building and somehow found ourselves as restaurant owners along the way. It has been amazing to have all your love and support over the past 18 months and we will walk away with very full hearts for all the ways our amazing customers have shown up and many have become friends. We are handing the reigns over to the amazing Heather Baber-Roe and Craig Roe of Baja Grill who will undoubtedly keep the dream of our beautiful downtown alive. We can’t wait to sit at the tables with friends and family as customers and we hope you will continue to support them the same as you supported us ❤️
Until then, come say hi, and have a pizza and a pint with us.
-Shawn and Denise Hipskind
