Local entities have partnered to educate Saline County residents about litter and illegal dumping. An announcement from Saline County Judge Jeff Arey’s office, says they are partnering with Recycle Saline, the Saline County Sheriff, and Keep Arkansas Beautiful because the amount of litter and illegal dumping has increased.
An anonymous Tip Line has been created for residents to call and report disposal of trash from a vehicle or if you see an illegal dump site. Just call 501-778-2222 and leave a message. You may also click here to leave a tip online.
This partnership has listed some other ways that you can make a difference:
- Teach friends, family and children to not litter
- Cover truck beds when transporting trash or loose items
- Carry and use a litterbag in your vehicle
- Maintain trash service at your residence
- Report any sightings to the Tip Line
- Call the Recycle Saline office for more information about the Landfill Coupon Program
