Unless a Buyer Is Found for All 126 Hastings Stores, They’re All Closing – Yes Benton Too

According to a letter from corporate offices at Hastings Entertainment, addressed to employees, the company is broke and looking for a buyer. If they don’t find a buyer for all 126 Hastings Entertainment stores – including our location in Benton on Military Road – the whole thing is going down in flames.

We may very well be losing our video store. Our book store. Our coffee shop. Our music and musical instrument store. And all those skateboards, comic books, t-shirts, action figures and other fun items that are great for kids (and adult kids).

Below are pictures of signs currently posted on our Benton location of Hastings, telling customers that their programs and gift certificates are about to become invalid.
