There’s a new sanctioned 5K planned for Benton, to coordinate with Zombie Week, which also includes Spook City, Old Fashioned Day, Coffin Races and various zombie activities.
This race is on Saturday, October 12, 7:30 a.m. at the River Center in Benton at 1800 Citizens Drive, off Exit 116. It’s sponsored by Stilwell Insurance & Financial Service, Inc., Baxley Penfield Moudy, Saline Psychological Services, The Lunch Bunch and Stated Apparel.
The Young Players theater group presents this race as a fundraiser for their educational program.
