Two Possible New Restaurants and a Hair Place in Benton

It’s just a business card for a haircut. Right? Well, no.

It’s advertising a new location for SportClips, to be opening at the new mall, the Shoppes of Benton. Hey, that’s good news.

But wait… it also says that they are near Hobby Lobby, but we knew Hobby Lobby was coming, and they’re even already open.

The thing that really interests me is that if you zoom in on the map…

There it is. It shows that the new Sport Clips will be located in the strip between Newk’s and Smoothie King. Because we know where those places are located. Except actually, I hadn’t heard about those. Had you?

I called the Newk’s corporate office and a spokesperson there stated that it was definitely possible, but she couldn’t say yes for certain (a.k.a. could neither confirm or deny). I was unable to get someone from Smoothie King on the phone.

So I’m left with just this little ticket-sized business card as a clue. I would expect for lots more news to come out of this new mall location. We might be able to say these restaurants are for sure coming, but don’t absolutely count on it until we get official word from those companies.
