Many are wondering – and speculating – about what happened with a train on Monday in Benton. According to Benton Fire Chief Russ Evans, there was a small electrical fire on the lead car of a train near the intersection of Benton Parkway and Alcoa Boulevard.
The issue for the humans aboard was mostly smoke. Personnel had to get the train stopped quickly and evacuate all of the staff members. No one was seriously hurt – just some smoke inhalation.
