The 2024 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Summer Games is kicking off across the state. Officers from all over the state will carry the Flame of Hope in their cities. The iconic Flame will make its way to Little Rock.
On Thursday May 23rd on the Capitol Steps at 9:30am, the four flames from all corners of the state will come together to form the Final Leg Torch. Officers will make their way to Searcy to run the Flame of Hope into a small cauldron lighting ceremony. This will kick off two days of Special Olympics Arkansas Summer Games Competition May 23-25th in Searcy at Harding University.
Organizations supporting the Torch Run Relay in Saline County are Benton Police Department, Bryant Police Department, and Saline County Sheriff’s Office
Watch for the run on Tuesday, May 21st, 2024, beginning at 9:30am at Everett Buick GMC, and running on the South Frontage Road until Centennial Bank on Reynolds Road in Bryant.
The final leg of the event will be May 23 Little Rock Capitol Steps 9:30am – Little Rock – Searcy ending 7:30pm Harding Stadium (Route for Final Leg).

The Torch Arrival Celebrations are Pep Rallies hosted by Centennial Bank, designed to bring awareness to the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Arkansas on its way to the 2024 Special Olympics Arkansas Summer Games.
