Tonya Green Morgan announced Monday she will seek the office of Saline County Clerk in next November’s election. She will run as an Independent.
Morgan stated, “As a lifelong resident of Saline County, I have worked to build businesses here and have served the community in various ways, including serving on the Boys and Girls Clubs of Saline County for 20 years. My passion to serve remains strong and I believe by occupying the office of County Clerk, I can be of even greater service to our community.”
Morgan has been involved in real estate development and sales in Saline County and has an extensive background in volunteer work, including serving as the Secretary of the Executive Board of The Boys and Girls Clubs of Saline County, participating on the Benton Chamber of Commerce’s Benton Matters Committee, working with the Riverside Park Tax Initiative and Development, and created and developed the Caldwell Elementary Garden, Pavilion, and paved walking path.
She has been married to Jody Morgan for 24 years and the two are parents to a son, Trevor, and two daughters, Chloe and Lucy.
