The Local Tavern is a new restaurant in town. It’s coming to Bryant at 3429 Market Place Avenue (behind Walmart).

You may recognize that address as the location of Crave Hot Dogs & Barbecue. That’s because it’s soon to be there instead of Crave.
The owners wanted something different, something that builds community, something that brings people together. And they wanted huge burgers (like a pound) from fresh quality beef. And they wanted to have pool tables.
If you’re not hooked yet, they are also going to have the place decked out with gear and memorabilia from our local high school teams, Bryant, Benton, Bauxite & Harmony Grove.
Are they going to keep the ax throwing? No, but in addition to the pool tables, they plan on having nostalgic video games like Pac-Man and Galaga. (No promises on which games!) They also want to have a PlayStation and/or Xbox available for play.
Are they going to keep the self-pour wall for beer and mixed drinks? Yes, and they’re going to make it easier to figure out how much you will be spending, by making it a flat rate for beers, another rate for pitchers, and another rate for mixed drinks. I would add prices here, but they will change someday, and this article will stay here forever. Just know that they’re very competitive prices.
Pretty soon, you’ll see The Crave sign come down and a new sign go up. The restaurant isn’t even going to close. They want to keep their loyal
employees with a job so they can have as much stability as possible during the transition.
Currently, The Local Tavern is looking for team memorabilia. A helmet or a jersey or photos, etc… If you think you have something that’s could be decor for one of the walls – Hornets, Panthers, Miners or Cardinals – message them through Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/TheLocalTavernBryant or give them a call at the restaurant at 501-213-0407.
