At approximately 1:43 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, Benton Walmart loss prevention team members contacted officers about the suspects who left the store, got into a vehicle and drove toward Interstate 30. Officers located the suspects on I-30 and conducted a traffic stop. During a search of the vehicle, officers located 43 suspected cloned credit cards. The suspects were taken into custody and face charges of:
- Quentin Demon McFail, 29, of Dallas, Texas – 43 counts of 2nd degree Forgery, class C felony; Criminal Use of Property or Laundering Criminal Proceeds, class C felony; and Theft of Property, class D felony;
- Shatonna Delzona Johnson, 25, of Fort Worth, Texas – 42 counts of 2nd degree Forgery, class C felony; Criminal Use of Property or Laundering Criminal Proceeds, class C felony; and Theft of Property, class D felony;
- Chasity Herlecia Jefferson, 25, of Fort Worth, Texas – 42 counts of 2nd degree Forgery, class C felony; Criminal Use of Property or Laundering Criminal Proceeds, class C felony; and Theft of Property, class D felony.
All three suspects are expected to face additional charges from the Malvern Police Department. This is an ongoing investigation and more charges are possible from the Benton Police Department and/or other law enforcement agencies.
