I got email from a MySaline reader (below) about a real possibility that TCBY in Benton would be closing for good. I looked into it and tried to contact the local owner, but phone calls to the business number yielded a “disconnected number” message. A call to the owner’s personal number was not returned.
Theperson emailing MySaline said that they saw the yogurt machines being loaded onto a trailer. It’s hard to run a self-serve yogurt shop with no machines to dispense the yogurt, so we assumed they have closed.
Upon going to the TCBY location to see for ourselves, we found a letter on the door from the property manager. The letter (below) states that the locks have been changed and if the previous tenant wants in, they need to contact management. We’re sorry to see this business go. Hopefully another one will take it’s place soon.
