There’s a new food truck on Military Road in Benton. It’s The Taco Guy, run by Travis Tibbitts and Juan Maltos. Tibbitts is from Benton and worked with Landers Chevrolet and Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep since 2014, most recently as Sales Manager. He said the recently sale of the dealership helped push him and his wife Haley into the decision to go for his dream.
“We were blessed with an opportunity to chase our retirement dream of owning a taco trailer,” stated Tibbitts. “You’ll find myself and my brother in law, Juan Maltos in the taco trailer everyday. Juan makes phenomenal chicken nachos.”
The Taco Guy serves lunch and supper from 11-9 daily from their little space next to Pizza Hut. They have street tacos, nachos and burritos on the menu. They also run The Sno Cone Guy that they use for festivals but are looking to settle somewhere in the Benton area.
