An Alexander man died Saturday night after running into a vehicle on the highway.
According to the Arkansas State Police, Raymond Taber (known as T.J.), age 30, ran across the eastbound lanes (toward Little Rock) of Interstate 30 at Bryant Parkway near Exit 124, at approximately 9:27 p.m. He collided with a 2011 Lexus, driven by a 62-year-old man from Memphis, Tennessee.
Taber was pronounced dead at the scene. The motorist sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital. The police report follows.
