A MySaline reader reported to me today:
“Since you are the Queen of Saline, I thought I’d make sure you know that Sweet Tea Cafe closed. Somebody said it is cleaned out and a note on the door saying something about unforeseen circumstances.”
I’m sorry to see them go. The food and service was wonderful.

This really shocks me. Every time we went they were jammed packed. There were literally no vacant tables.

It is so hard to make a go of it in the restaurant business. It is very demanding on you if you have lots of business. And if you don’t have lots of business, you go under.

How sad! I really enjoyed their food & coconut cream pie was to die for. I will truly miss Sweet Tea. Prayer for them & their unforseen circumstances.

Sorry to see them go–we wonly went once and had planned to go back–the food was very good and plentiful portions. Will pray that their unforeseen circumstances will have the hand of the Lord on them to guide them correctly and help them where needed.
