Federal, State and Local agencies held public hearing meetings regarding the construction of the Southwest Trail (working title), a walking and biking trail spanning three counties – Pulaski, Saline & Garland (see original post below).

ORIGINAL NOV 13, 2018:
Pulaski, Saline, and Garland Counties, in coordination with the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), will conduct three public involvement meetings to present and discuss location alternatives for the Southwest Trail (bicycle and pedestrian path) connecting the City of Hot Springs with the City of Little Rock.
These will be open house / drop-in meetings with no formal presentations. The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view exhibits, ask questions, and offer comments. Each of these meetings listed below will have the same content, so it’s not necessary to attend more than one.
- Tue Nov 13, 4-7 p.m. – Benton High School, Professional Development Center, 211 N. Border St. in Benton
- Wed Nov 14, 4-7 p.m. – Embassy Suites by Hilton, Grand Salon, 400 Convention Blvd. in Hot Springs
- Thu Nov 15, 4-7 p.m. – The Centre at University Park, Banquet Hall, 6401 W. 12th St. in Little Rock
