Join the virtual meeting to see the planned path for the Southwest Trail to stretch through three counties.
Pulaski, Saline, and Garland Counties, in coordination with the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), will conduct a virtual public meeting to present alignment adjustments to the selected alternative for the Southwest Trail (bicycle and pedestrian path) connecting the City of Hot Springs with the City of Little Rock.
There will be a live Microsoft Teams Virtual Public Meeting event online to discuss the project updates on Tuesday, May 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to listen, view meeting materials, and participate by asking questions and making comments with the appropriate project staff.
The virtual public meeting will be hosted at SWTrail.TransportationPlanRoom.com beginning April 24, 2022 and ending May 18, 2022. The public is invited and encouraged to visit the virtual site anytime during the scheduled dates to view the project information and offer comments. Project information can be emailed or mailed upon request. The virtual public meeting (no in-person meeting) will include a pre-recorded presentation, the Environmental Assessment (EA), Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), exhibits showing alignment adjustments, an interactive map, and comment form.
