Haskell locals looking to pick up a meal from a Subway restaurant will have to go outside of town. The business, located at 2313 Hwy 229, made the decision to close permanently, due to economic factors associated with the ongoing pandemic.
They posted a note on the door of the restaurant, stating the following:

We appreciate your business thru the past years. Unfortunately, due to the negative economic effects of the Covid pandemic, we are forced to immediately and permanently close this Subway location. We apologize for the inconvenience.
