Saline River – The bass have been good on several things from brooder minnows to plastics and zingtails. Zingtails are just like a Roostertail but everyone tells me that they spin so much better. Crappie have been doing fair off of #6 crappie minnows and assorted types of crappie jigs. Bream have done very well off of crickets, Catfish are also doing good off of brooder minnows, chicken livers and night crawlers. Give it another month and the walleye will start to really turn on.
Sunset Lake – It was reported to me as of Sunday that actually half of the park was closed. But that you could fish off of the dock and the boat ramp. Other than that I don’t have a fishing report for it yet.

Bass good on brooder minnows, plastic baits and buzz & spinner baits as well.
