Saline River – Before the rains the catfish were doing great on trotlines with goldfish. Bass were going after the brooder & bass minnows pretty good. Crappie fair off of #6 crappie minnows and Kalin’s jigs, Tennessee Shad color. Bream great on crickets.
Sunset Lake – Sunset Lake is temporarily closed for renovations.
Lake Norrell – The crappie were doing good on #6 crappie minnows in the deeper water. Bream the big red ears going after the crickets drop shotting them. Bass been good on minnows especially the bigger ones around the docks. Catfish have done good off of cut baits – skip jack & shad.
Bishop Park Ponds – A few small crappie being caught off of crappie minnows. Bream on crickets. And bass off of brooder minnows also some catfish. Otherwise been pretty slow.
Lake Winona – Crappie biting slow on #6 crappie minnows. Catfish been good on goldfish, bream and bait shrimp. Bass good on crank baits, spinner baits, chatter baits and brooder minnows.
