Saline River – Bass have been going after Zoom trick worms, minnows and beetle spins. Crappie good on crappie minnows and Kalin’s 2″ grubs in Tenneessee shad color. Catfish have been good on trotlines with goldfish, black salty’s and small bream. Bream have been doing excellent on crickets and red worms also wax worms.
Sunset Lake – The lake is hot…Ark Game & Fish stocked it with catfish Thursday June 4th. Chicken livers, stink baits and worms have been doing good for a lot of people for the catfish. Bream have been doing good off of crickets and red worms, and some artificial bream baits. Bass been going after spinner baits and black salty’s and plastics. Crappie been fair early in the mornings on crappie minnows and pink ones too. Also late in the evening right before sundown.
Lake Norrell – Bream have been good with crickets fishing deep ,and also with red worms. Catfish been good off of live crawdads, bait shrimp and night crawlers. Bass have been hitting plastics, spinner baits and buzz baits. Crappie been hitting minnows and crappie jigs.
Bishop Park Ponds – Some nice sized catfish has been reported being caught off of chicken livers and night crawlers, stink baits. A few crappie off of pink and regular crappie minnows. Bass good off of live crawdads and bettle spins. Bream pretty good on crickets and red worms and rock hoppers.
Lake Winona – Bream have been very good on crickets. Catfish doing great on live crawdads, black salty’s and chicken livers. Small bass plentiful off of crappie minnows. Blue & silver jigs especially grub type doing good for the crappie, also pink crappie minnows.
