Megan Lambert caught this 5.5 lb bass off of #6 crappie minnows at Nimrod Lake
Saline River – Bream have been good with crickets and redworms. Bass been good on bass minnows and brooder minnows. Crappie have been caught off of #6 crappie minnows and also on Kalin’s 2″ grubs in the Tenneessee shad color. Walleye early in the morning or at dark off of the brooder minnows tight lining. Catfish have been good not only pole fishing with fresh chicken livers and night crawlers but also on trotlines with goldfish and black salty’s.
The next two pictures were caught two days in a row by Hunter Howard on Lake Norrell. The first picture has crappie and couple of bass. The second one has all crappie all were caught on Kalin 2″ grubs in the colors, Arkansas Shad, Tennessee Shad & Rainbow Trout are his favorite colors to use.
Sunset Lake – It was stocked April 1st with catfish, this is the first time this year it’s been stocked. And people have been flocking it especially with the fact that fishing is near about the only thing you can do now days. They are using fresh chicken livers, stink bait, night crawlers, and bass minnows. Bream been good on crickets and redworms. Bass been doing good on minnows, chatter baits and baby brush hogs and trick worms.

Lake Norrell – The crappie have been great off pink, #6 & #4 crappie minnows. I have had reports of people catching nice ones at that. Bass been fair on spinner baits and bass minnows. Bream have been biting crickets. Catfish good on cut baits, skipjack and shad.

Bishop Park Ponds – Bream have been good on crickets. Catfish been good on night crawlers, stink bait and fresh chicken livers. Bass good off bass and brooder minnows. Crappie being caught off #6 crappie minnows.

Lake Winona – Bass been good off of trick works fishing the wacky worm. Crappie good on bass minnows and on blue & silver grubs. Bream have been hitting crickets. Catfish good on bait shrimp, minnows and goldfish.
