Morrilton Police Department, Arkansas State Police and the Conway County Sheriff’s Office took Stacy Lee Drake, 50, into custody at about 10 a.m. in a wooded area south of the Morrilton intersection of University Boulevard and Poor Farm Road.

Drake was taken into custody without incident after a manhunt that began late Tuesday, June 18, 2024. The Arkansas National Guard and the Arkansas Division of Community Correction assisted in the search.
Drake is wanted in connection with multiple homicides and carjackings in Oklahoma and is wanted on other felony warrants from multiple jurisdictions, with charges including aggravated robbery, carjacking, and murder.
He is being held at the Conway County Detention Center. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

Stacy Lee Drake, 50, who is wanted in connection to multiple homicides, is known to have purchased camping gear, according to a Wednesday afternoon statement from Arkansas State Police (ASP). They say all indications are he is still in the Morrilton area.
ASP urges the public to exercise caution. Drake is believed to be armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him should not approach him. Call 911 immediately.
Multiple law enforcement agencies have been working to apprehend this suspect since Tuesday night.

Arkansas State Police and other local law enforcement agencies are working to apprehend a Birmingham, Ala., man wanted in multiple homicides. Stacy Lee Drake, 50, was last seen on foot outside a motel in Morrilton and is believed to be armed and dangerous.
