Have you “seen your” former Pizza Hut and it’s about “to kill ya” not knowing what it is going to be next? Ok, those are really bad puns, but maybe not the worst.
Pizza Hut moved out of the property at 2919 N Reynolds Road several months ago and set up shop a few blocks over, on Market Place Avenue. It left locals wondering what would be next for the building. It’s undeniable that there’s plenty of traffic on Reynolds Road alone to support another restaurant coming in.
In the past few days, there has been someone working to renovate the place, so naturally, we – the hungry people – want to know what’s going on there. Or rather, who’s going in there. I dug a little and found that someone bought the property recently. The Saline County Assessor’s Office listed the sale date at May 24, 2023. The price for the 3,481sf property and the land where it sits was $1.325 million. And the name of the owner makes it pretty obvious… Senor Tequila Bryant.
Yes, the same Mexican restaurant with several other locations. At this time, Senor Tequila has seven location in central Arkansas. This one in Bryant would bring the total to eight. The current locations are four in Little Rock, at Bowman Rd, Cantrell Rd, Rodney Parham Rd and University Ave; two in North Little Rock at Camp Robinson Rd and Maumelle Blvd; and one in Sherwood at Highway 107.
We don’t have news of a goal for an opening date just yet, but it’s coming, and it will be open 7 days a week. Watch MySaline.com for updates.
