Get ready to skate this winter. Benton Parks and Recreation will open their skating rink for the season, beginning Sunday, December 1st at the Downtown Farmers Market. The price for general admission is FREE, but you must reserve. See other details below.

The rink will be located at the corner of Main and Ashley Streets. This fun winter activity is sponsored by Everett Buick GMC.
The rink will be open December 1st-31st except for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. There will be a selection of ice skates available for use, or you can bring your own.

The skating rink has a maximum occupation of 48 people. Participants will skate at their own risk. Smoking, alcohol or tobacco use are not allowed at the rink or any City property.

RULES:
Skate at your own risk.
Four (4) skating aids will be available for children or elderly skaters.
Limited size skates will be available (up to adult size 12). Skaters can wear their own hockey or figure skates. • Please wear appropriate clothing. Socks are required with figure skates. Every guest must purchase a general admission pass. If you are assisting a child or guest on the ice skating rink, you must purchase a general admission pass.
In the event the ice skating rink is cancelled due to inclement weather, a full refund will be given to the customer. Benton Parks & Recreation staff will contact customers regarding the refund. No refunds will be given at the ice skating rink.
Customers can transfer dates, pending availability. If other dates are not available, no refunds will be given (see inclement weather policy).
Skating in a manner that endangers or interferes with other skaters including: roughness, excessive speeding or weaving, is prohibited.
No tag or games of any kind are permitted on or off the ice.
No one is permitted on the ice without skates.
Patrons must clean up after their event has concluded.
Eating or drinking is not permitted on the ice.
Exits are to be kept clear at all times in case of an emergency.
Please skate counter-clockwise unless directed otherwise.
Please do not sit on, lean over, or leave articles on the dasher boards.
Deposit trash in the designated containers. The Rink is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Dogs are to be on a leash at all times while at the Farmers Market, no pets allowed on the ice.
Decorations need to be approved by the onsite manager on the day of the event.
Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited.
Merchandising is not permitted without written consent from the Benton Parks and Recreation Director.
