I have been watching a couple of Saline County businesses come to life, decorate some and then a little more, until they are finally ready to be open to the public this weekend.
If you don’t live in Sardis, you might not expect to find something like Farm to Table Country Kitchen & Vintage Market… in Sardis. It’s not a restaurant yet, but it’s getting there. But for now, it’s a vintage market that rents booths, and their grand opening is Friday, April 13th. Wesley & Charlene Brown are the owners of this establishment, and Jesse and Amanda Reising are co-owners.
Amanda says you can come and listen to live music from Makayla Lowrance while you shop the boutique booths. The address is 23713 N. Sardis Road in Mabelvale, next to the Dollar General. Visit their Facebook at facebook.com/Farm-to-Table-Country-Kitchen-Vintage-Market-1992886324372601.
In downtown Benton, if you have driven on Market Street in the past month, you might have noticed some activity in a particular storefront. Kelsi Evans has been running an online boutique called At Your Request since 2014 but is taking the leap to a physical location and changing the name to Lillian Trails. This store will specialize in customizing apparel and accessories, as well as children’s clothing. Like the one above, this store also opens on Friday the 13th. They’ll have refreshments and giveaways, and they will cut a ribbon at 10:30 a.m. Find it at 119 N. Market Street in Benton. Visit their Facebook at facebook.com/Shop.Lillian.Trails.
Lillian Trails is opening just to the left of where Twigs Flower Shop currently sits, but Twigs will soon open around the corner on South Street, where Green-Eyed Frog recently closed up shop. Twigs is currently located at 115 N. Market Street, and they are having a sale before moving to 113 W. South Street in Benton.
