The Sardis “shoe tree” area has been in the news quite a bit, since it the tree is slated for removal, but now there is yellow police tape at the private property on that corner of Hogue and N. Sardis Roads, for a shooting incident.
Saline County Ark 911 News reported that Bauxite Fire Department responded there Monday around 1:00 p.m. on a report of a gun shot wound to the neck. Sardis neighbors say the victim was taken by private vehicle to Bauxite Fire Department and then to the hospital.
