As an update about the shooting in East End Wednesday night, SCSO Detectives continue to investigate the shooting that left two persons injured. At this time, Detectives are no longer naming Mr. Sean Schulz as a person of interest in this case. They are working to develop information to identify the suspects.
Additionally, the infant injured in this incident has been discharged from the hospital and is now recovering well.

On Wednesday, January 23rd, Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) deputies and detectives responded to the 2000 block of Lorance Dr. in the East End Community for a report of a shooting involving two victims.
Deputies arrived and found a 23-year-old woman and her one-month-old daughter had been shot inside their home. Deputies provided first aid to the woman and infant, and they were then transported by ambulance to area hospitals.
At the time of this release, the infant remains hospitalized but is said to have non-life-threatening injuries. The mother has been released from the hospital after receiving treatment for superficial injuries only.
