How long has it been? *Looks back in the MySaline archives* Well heck, I’ll just copy all the archives on this one topic into a big ol’ long post. But it looks like it was Sunday Morning, August 16th, 2015 when Shoe Carnival at Alcoa Exchange caught fire. Since then, they set up a temporary store next to the Bryant Walmart/Ashley’s Furniture, they cleaned out the wreckage from the fire, and after about 14 months of work, they are set for a Grand Opening in their original location on Saturday, Oct 22, 2016!
See below for the news posted the day of the fire and going forward. Welcome back, Shoe Carnival.
Fire at Alcoa Exchange in Bryant Sunday Morning
Benton and Bryant Fire Departments are working together to put out a fire at Shoe Carnival at Alcoa Exchange in Bryant. Surrounding fire departments have been called to cover those cities while they are busy. The fire is big enough to affect the businesses on either side as well. Rue 21 is on its left and Old Navy is on its right.
More as I get news.
