According to the U.S. Marshal Service, they arrested Benjamin Gurley, age 36, of North Little Rock as a homicide suspect in the recent murder of Lonsdale man, James Lamere. He was arrested in Jerusalem, Ar.

According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 28, 2017, deputies were dispatched to a call for shots in the 18000 block of Highway 70, Lonsdale, Arkansas.
Responding deputies found an unresponsive subject on the property. That subject was found to be deceased.
The area was cordoned off by Patrol Division deputies, and detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) were called to the scene.
The incident was deemed a homicide. CID detectives have been actively working the investigation since Sunday morning.
The victim has been identified as James Lamere, age 35, of Benton, Arkansas. Next of kin have been notified.

Detectives from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) are working on finding a murder suspect after a shooting in Lonsdale. According to the SCSO, about 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 28th, deputies responded to the scene at the 18000 block of Highway 70 to find the deceased body of a man that had been shot.
