The Saline County Sheriff’s Office, (SCSO) put out a statement on Thursday regarding the availability of mugshots. This is normally public information, so when the SCSO recently became unable to provide this service, it became necessary to make an announcement. MySaline normally publishes these mugshots as a service to local citizens for crime watch purposes. The SCSO hopes to have records available again next week. The statement from the SCSO is as follows.
The Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) has recently undergone a change in records and management companies. Our hopes were that the transition would be seamless, however a technical issue ensued which has not permitted us to push data from the SCSO Detention Center to the provider who handles our Inmate Roster. The problem became known to us on July 24, 2017, and we have been attentively working to rectify the issue.
PLEASE BE PATIENT and know that we are aware of the problem and are diligently working on a solution. We are optimistic that the Inmate Roster will be viewable to the public by next week.
