At about 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, February 7th, a motor vehicle accident occurred between a patrol car from Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) and one other vehicle, according to SCSO spokesperson Lt. Jeffrey Silk.
Silk stated that there were two deputies present in the patrol car. Both were injured and went to a nearby hospital. One was treated and released. The other was admitted and is expecting surgery. The civilian driver was airlifted to a different hospital, but was conscious and listed in stable condition.
Arkansas State Police and Benton Police Department are currently investigating this accident.
