Over the past 30 days the Saline County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) has seen a concentration of thefts in the East End community. The thefts have either involved trailers or ATVs.
In two of the thefts, witnesses reported seeing a red pick-up truck in the area prior to the incident occurring.
Specifically, on September 5, 2016, an ATV 4-wheeler was stolen in the area of the 12000 block of Germania Road. On September 24, 2016, a trailer was stolen from a church in the 24000 block of Highway 167.
Photographs of the suspect vehicle are above and below. From examining these photographs, it appears that the vehicle is a:
- Chevy or GMC pick-up truck
- Red in color
- Quad cab
- Dually
- Chrome brush guard on the front
- Chrome wheels
- Believed to be a diesel
- Possible tinted windows
