Lock your vehicle to protect against the rash of break-ins. The Saline County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by law enforcement in White County, advising that there have been multiple instances reported by residents of someone breaking in their vehicles and taking things.
According to the White County Sheriff’s Office, on the morning of Tuesday, March 22, 2022, they received a report of multiple vehicle break-ins outside of the city of Beebe, that occurred during the night before. The suspects stole wallets, purses, bags, and other things, including personal and financial items.
The suspects then made fraudulent transactions, using several bank and credit card accounts in the Pulaski County area. The stores included Walmart in Maumelle and Cantrell Road in Little Rock, a Shell station on Cantrell Road, and a Dollar General store on Lawson Road in Little Rock.
Investigators have video and photos from those locations, but have not been able to identify the suspects, described as two black males, ages in their 20s to early 30s. At least one male has substantial tattooing on both hands. The suspects were seen driving a white sedan (likely a Cadillac STS) at the Walmart locations and then a burgundy sedan (likely a Nissan Altima) at the Dollar General. Cameras were not able to capture license plate numbers.
The suspects are believed to be involved in similar incidents in central Arkansas and White County areas.
