Three individuals were arrested and charged in relation to an alleged kidnapping incident in Bauxite, Arkansas.

On January 24, 2024, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office received a report of domestic violence on Lauren Lane, in Bauxite.
During the investigation, it was determined that the offenders, Michael Weser, age 51 and Kaylee Reeves, age 26, physically assaulted, threatened to use a deadly weapon, and forced a victim to leave her home. The victim’s phone was also taken from her, and she was left stranded on the opposite end of the county.
Both Weser and Reeves were arrested and charged. Weser was charged with:
- Kidnapping,
- Domestic Battering in the Second Degree,
- Terroristic Threatening,
- Aggravated Assault,
- Theft of Property,
- Interference with Emergency Communications, and
- Criminal Mischief in the First Degree.
Reeves was charged with:
- Kidnapping,
- Terroristic Threatening,
- Theft of Property,
- Interference with Emergency Communications, and
- Battering in the Third Degree.
A search warrant was conducted at Weser’s residence where several firearms and electronic communications devices were seized for examination.
After arresting Weser and Reeves, Deborah Steele, age 70, was also arrested and charged with Kidnapping.
Detectives are still working this case, and will release more information once it is concluded.
