Two Saline County committees will meet on Monday, April 1st at 6:30 p.m. to discuss several agenda items. This includes a resolution regarding abortion. If passed, it would collectively announce the Saline County Quorum Court’s opposition to the proposed Arkansas Abortion Amendment to Amendment 68.
The Resolution states that the amendment “threatens the legality of Arkansas’s current restrictions on abortion and conflicts with Saline County’s policy as stated in Resolution No. 2021-8.” Read the full proposed resolution in Exhibit “B” below.
The meeting will be in Courtroom #3 in the Saline County Courthouse. The address is 200 N. Main St.
