The Saline County Library is currently seeking donations of gently used costumes for its Costume Closet. Bring gently used costumes and accessories to the Benton or Bryant branch. The donations will be used to stock the library’s Costume Closet. This is a free resource that allows patrons of all ages to check out costumes throughout October.

The Benton branch of the library is located at 1800 Smithers Drive, Benton, AR 72015. The Bryant branch is located at 201 Prickett Road, Bryant, AR 72022.

The Costume Closet will be open for checkouts, starting at 9:00 AM on Monday, October 2. The costumes are available on a first come, first served basis. The library will not place holds on costumes. There is no need to return costumes after Halloween; at checkout you will simply return the hanger to the circulation desk.
The library is also seeking donations for its Community Pantry. The Community Pantry is stocked with essential food and hygiene items for people who are in need. You can donate items to the library’s Community Pantry by dropping them off at the circulation desk of either library branch. Please make sure that no donated items are open, damaged, or expired.
The Saline County Library has been serving the residents of Saline County since 1931. In that time, it has expanded to two beautiful locations: The Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library in Benton and the Mabel Boswell Memorial Library in Bryant.
Each location provides wireless access computing as well as desktop computers for guest use, and several other non-traditional items such as video games, cake pans, small tools, and more.
