The Saline County Library announces the SCL 48-Day Film Project. Teams or individuals interested in competing should come to the informational meeting 6 – 7:30 p.m., Monday, June 3rd at the Benton branch of the library at 1800 Smithers Drive. If you can’t come to the meeting, contact Jennifer Watson or Laura Austin at 501-778-4766.
The winning team will receive a trophy and prizes are to be determined. The competition will be judged by a panel of the Library’s choosing. Film teams may be all ages but each team must have at least one sponsor or member aged 18 or older. Each film should be a maximum of ten minutes in length, including title card and credits. Teams should submit their film on a flash drive as an MP4 or MOV file. You must use your own equipment and props, but the library does have a green or blue screen that may be used.
All the films will be revealed at the SCL 48-Day Film Festival at the Benton library branch on Thursday, July 25th, beginning at 6 p.m. This showing is open to the public.
