Hurricane Creek Federal Credit Union will award five $1,000 college scholarships to students in 2023.
Student must be a 2023 graduating high school senior at the time entry is submitted. Student must be a resident of Saline County. Be an active member of HCFCU, where the student is the primary account holder. If you are not already a member, you can join at the branch or online at www.hurricanecreekfcu.org.
To get started, fill out the application at THIS PDF LINK. Complete the 2023 Scholarship Application. Complete the essay (see below), and submit in-person, by mail to HCFCU at PO Box 417, Benton, AR 72018 or by email to [email protected]. The submission deadline is Monday, May 1, 2023. Scholarships will be awarded on Monday, May 15, 2023.
Choose from these topics and submit an essay of at least 500 words:
- Hurricane Creek Federal Credit Union loves to help out in the community. We want to know- what needs do you see in your community, how you would meet that need, and how you would get the community involved to help.
- Credit Unions are all about “People Helping People.” Please describe how you see this in your life now and in the future.
- If you managed a financial institution, what services would you offer to young members to help start and build a lifelong relationship?
