Saline County athletes have applied and received this scholarship in the last two years. This year it could be your high school senior. The Rock City Running-Kinco Constructors 2023 Student Athlete Scholarship is valued at $1,500.
Emma Selph was awarded the scholarship in 2021, and Abigail McElhaney received it in 2022. They are both Benton High School graduates who literally excelled in Track and Cross Country.
Students should get their applications in by April 12, 2023. The recipients will be announced on April 28, 2023.
The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize and reward two student-athletes (one male and one female) who exemplify the qualities of Leadership, Sportsmanship and Integrity.
