MySaline’s Saline County Favorites Survey announced all the 2024 winners and now we would like to shine a spotlight on some of them!

Chicken Salad Chick brought home two awards from our Saline County Favorites Survey: Favorite Lunch Spot and Favorite Sandwich! After the samples we received during this interview, we can definitely see why!Â
Chicken Salad Chick is located in the same shopping area as TJ Maxx, Ulta, and Hobby Lobby. After being open for nearly four years, Emily Gray said she couldn’t do it without such an incredible community. “The people here in Saline County continue to show up for our business and have been so friendly and helpful in the growth of Chicken Salad Chick,” Emily stated. With a passion for community, Emily knew Saline County would be a great place to open her business.Â
Chicken Salad Chick is a restaurant that serves fresh-made chicken salad in a variety of flavors, sandwiches, fresh sides, gourmet soups, and delicious desserts. There are many different chicken salads to choose from, each with a unique taste. We asked Emily what her favorite choices on the menu were, and although she struggled to choose just a couple, she decided on the grape salad and the Jalapeno Holly Chicken Salad.

I moved here to open the restaurant from out of town and I always felt very supported and a very warm welcome from the community. It means so much to me to be recognized as the best spot for lunch and the best sandwich because there are so many amazing restaurants, sandwiches, and food in this town, so it really means a lot to us to be recognized. We are just so honored to be chosen by our customers who have become family to us.”
