Tony Clifton of the Sardis community in Saline County has started a project to help a family by building a tiny house. Tony posted on his social media on April 1st that he had spoken with a teen who asked him about a place to stay since his family was living in a vehicle. Tony told the teen he was going out of town on a church retreat and wouldn’t be able to help. But while on the retreat, Tony says God let him know he needed to help. He came home and began work transforming an old RV into a tiny home that the family could live in.
“It’s been put on my heart to help this family stay together,” stated Tony. “I want to finish it and let this family use it as long as they need it even for 15 years if that is what it takes.”
Several businesses and individuals in the community have come forward to help. Tony’s brother Todd Clifton is also working on the project.
