PREVIOUSLY FEB 20, 2021
Sardis Water is urging customers to conserve water until the tanks are back to normal levels. Currently, the water being used is more than production abilities. Tank levels are getting critically low and they are having a hard time filling them back to normal levels.
Some ways you can help us are as follows:
1. Hold off on washing clothes for a few days.
2. Hold off on using the dishwasher for a few days.
3. Discontinue dripping water unless the actual temperature dips below freezing.
4. If you lost water due to frozen pipes, check all your service lines for leaks since the temperatures are now allowing water to flow again. If you have lower pressure than before the freeze, it could be because you have leaking lines.
4. If you know you have leaking lines, shut off water and repair the leaks. If you can’t turn your water service off, .call 501-602-5393 and we will assist you as soon as we can.
We are asking for this conservation to avoid the potential for a boil order. There is not currently a boil order for Sardis Water customers. Please do all you can to help us with this request.
